About Tai Chi For Health Studio
Iron River Tai Chi for Health is founded by instructor Irina Tarbeeva. An avid practitioner of tai chi since 1999, Tarbeeva offers tai chi (tie chee) and qigong (chee gong) instruction in Iron River, Michigan. A practitioner of tai chi since 1999, she was excited to discover in 2013 the teaching of Dr. Paul Lam (click here for link) who has designed tai chi ch'uan programs supporting healing and wellness for conditions like arthritis and diabetes. Ms. Tarbeeva’s training certifications from Dr. Lam fulfill her desire to share the tool of tai chi with others who would like to develop their own powers of self healing and wellness. In 2017 Ms. Tarbeeva began training in 24 Postures Therapeutic Qigong with Bill Pickett. Tarbeeva's classes currently combine the best of her tai chi and qigong training.
Irina's classes are currently conducted in her studio in the Iron River Windsor Center and the United Lutheran Church in Crystal Falls, MI.

Some endorsements from Tarbeeva's students:
"I have been documented as breaking every bone just about in my body... Arthritis has run rampant and all my joints are affected. Tai Chi has taken 90%of my pain away and the other 10% is bearable... I have gained a mobility I have not had since the 90s.
The absolutely hardest thing for me to do would be to try to describe how much I thank and appreciate you and what you have done for me. "
Chris, Iron River, MI
"Irina's class is a healing experience. As an instructor, she combines a heart-centered, noncritical approach with just enough discipline to keep us moving towards greater and greater levels of participation, inside and outside. I always feel better for having attended class."
Colleen, Crystal Falls, MI
"Tai Chi has really helped me with balance and coordination. Being with a group of students like myself, all learning together, generates a positive energy that stays with me all day. Thank you very much for deciding to teach Tai Chi."
Bea, Iron River, MI
"Tai chi has really made a difference in my balance and strength and flexibility. And the best part it is fun to do as well. I am a lazy person when it comes to exercise so that is saying a lot. But that laziness is also disappearing through tai chi."
Sharon, Iron River,MI
"TC is happiness and peace.
In beauty may it be."
Pamela, Iron River Township,MI
"Tai Chi has been a wonderful experience for me both mentally and physically. It's a challenge to learn and remember all of the movements but it is also relaxing. Irina is a great leader."
